3. DOES DENTAL FILLING CAUSE PAIN OR DISCOMFORT?

The answer is absolutely painless. Before filling the tooth, the doctor will inject a sufficient amount of anesthetic into the treatment area so that the Customer does not feel any pain or discomfort when filling the tooth. In addition, the Customer may only feel a slight soreness after completing the filling process because the anesthetic has now worn off.

Customers should note the following points to keep the filling as long-lasting and durable as possible.

Do not eat for about 2 hours after completing the filling process. A newly filled tooth needs enough time to completely harden.

The Customer may experience slight pain after the anesthetic wears off, however this is insignificant and will quickly pass. In case of severe pain, the Customer will be prescribed painkillers by the doctor to resume normal activities. Absolutely do not use painkillers without a doctor’s prescription.

Colored drinks such as tea, coffee, and soft drinks are aesthetic enemies of teeth. Teeth tend to become discolored if these drinks are consumed regularly.

After filling teeth, customers should avoid eating foods that are too hard or too chewy. Focus on adding liquid, soft, and easy-to-swallow foods so as not to put too much impact on the teeth.

Brush your teeth twice a day, about 30 minutes after eating. Dentists recommend using fluoride toothpaste for stronger teeth.
