WHAT IS DENTAL IMPLANTATION?

Dental implants are considered one of the outstanding scientific achievements in dentistry. Dental implants are a method of implanting dental implants into the jawbone to replace lost tooth roots, then completing them with a porcelain crown on top. The dental implant process usually takes about 6 months. 1-6 months is the ideal time for the implant to be compatible with the jawbone. Dental implants are a solution to replace cases of tooth loss, loose teeth, and teeth that cannot function normally as before.

WHAT IS SMART IMPLANT GO (SIG) DENTAL IMPLANT?

Over time, dental implants have been researched and developed to become more and more modern with increasing compatibility and durability. SIG dental implants are an exclusive technology at Odent Dental. Odent Dental’s SIG smart implant technology completely overcomes the disadvantages of old methods and becomes one of the implant products that ensures absolute safety.

SIG smart implant tooth consists of 5 parts: Implant pillar (Titanium pillar), abutment (connector), Ticylinder (tooth core), tooth and SEC Titanium screw. The implant pillar (titanium pillar) is coated with a protein layer that meets the standards of the International Dental Association (Federal International Dental FDI). The protein layer helps promote rapid compatibility between the implant pillar and the jaw bone.

SIG Implant uses screw-in-screw technology, all components are connected together by screws. This makes the process of removing and adjusting the crown easy and quick when encountering chipping problems; absolutely does not affect the implant post. Therefore, screw-in-screw technology has the ability to prevent and minimize inflammation around the implant base.

Odent Dental Clinic supports the pre-anesthesia step to help calm the nervous system, the feeling of insecurity is gone. From there, the process of planting SIG smart implants goes more smoothly.

The outstanding feature of restoration with SIG smart implant is the relatively fast total time, only 1-2 months.

Modern implant teeth are exquisitely designed and imported directly from abroad. Standard implant teeth have chewing function equivalent to real teeth and ensure high aesthetics. The durability of SIG implant teeth is up to 20 years. Odent provides lifetime warranty for all customers using SIG smart implant teeth planting service at the dental clinic.

ABANDONING OLD METHODS BECAUSE OF THE DANGERS TO OUR OWN HEALTH POPULAR SOLUTIONS TO RESTORE LOST TEETH

1. Old cement implant technology:

  • Pros: Affordable.
  • Disadvantages:

– Cement implants pose risks to users because cement implants are made up of three main parts: implant post, joint and tooth. Cementing restorations will be very difficult to handle with the correct amount of cement required.

– Cementing restoration will result in the inability to handle excess cement, and cause inflammation and implant rejection due to excess food deposited in the excess cement. Even highly skilled doctors cannot avoid this risk.

2. Making Porcelain Bridges:

  • Advantages: Reasonable cost, porcelain bridge has high aesthetics and relatively improves chewing function.
  • Disadvantages:

– Porcelain bridges are only applicable in cases of single tooth loss, and the two teeth adjacent to the missing tooth position must be healthy to act as support.

– In the long term, the bone at the missing tooth will be lost, or the adjacent tooth that is ground down to make a pillar will gradually weaken and become damaged, leading to the loss of 3 teeth, with the risk of losing all teeth in the jaw.

– Food stuck under the bridge causes bad breath, infection, damages the two adjacent teeth, and gradually damages the entire jaw.

– Porcelain bridges have poor durability from 6 months to 5 years due to overload and inflammation of adjacent teeth.

3. Removable Dentures

  • Advantages: Can be applied to cases of multiple tooth loss or total tooth loss. Fast implementation time, low cost.
  • Disadvantages:

– Feeling loose, easy to fall off, uncomfortable, unnatural, causing pain when chewing.

– Affects adjacent teeth because the denture has an iron hook that hooks onto the 2 adjacent teeth. The strong chewing force causes the 2 adjacent teeth to loosen and fall out.

– Removable dentures must be replaced every 6 months because bone loss and soft tissue loss cause the jaw to become misaligned…

DOCTORS ONLY APPLY BONE GRAFT TECHNIQUE IN THE FOLLOWING 4 CASES:

Bone grafting in dental implants is a technique applied in cases where the jawbone does not have enough density and volume to support the implant.

  • Case 1: Bone grafting is applied to the condition of alveolar bone loss due to long-term tooth loss. Alveolar bone plays a role in supporting and covering the tooth root. Therefore, after long-term tooth loss, the alveolar bone gradually narrows in its entire volume, causing the implant to have no support or foundation when implanted.
  • Case 2: Customers who have worn removable dentures for a long time are often prescribed bone grafting. Because wearing removable dentures inadvertently causes the jawbone to become thinner and gradually atrophied over time.
  • Case 3: Congenital factors, the customer has a very thin and weak jaw bone. In this case, the doctor prescribes bone grafting to strengthen the jaw bone strength and density. The jaw bone must meet the conditions for the implant to be successful.
  • Case 4: The customer has a facial deformity due to unreliable dental procedures. This results in the jaw volume and structure no longer being suitable for implant placement.

Not only that, Panorama films also accurately show infected or periodontal teeth, the mandibular nerve, maxillary sinus, and dentures. This is very effective in developing a separate treatment plan for each different case of teeth and jaws. Customers can also easily recognize their condition. CT X-ray: Shows a 3D image of the entire maxillofacial structure. This helps doctors detect early diseases related to the customer’s maxillofacial system.
